April 13, 2020
As we see the impact of COVID-19 spread through athletics we wanted to reach out to our participants to address the situation as it pertains to our 2020 event. The safety, health, and overall wellness of our participants is our #1 priority. We are monitoring information from the Onondaga County Executive, City of Syracuse Mayor’s Office, CDC, the State Department, and the New York Department of Public Health. Many active sporting events and mass gatherings have
elected to begin canceling with the attempt to reduce the spread of this virus.
At this point, our committee has elected to delay the opening of race registration until we have more information and can be reasonably certain that our participants can remain safe in November.
Please note that all 2019 race deferrals will have the option to run our next event (date TBD) at no charge regardless of what happens in 2020.
