The Syracuse Half Marathon is right around the corner, and now is the time to start thinking about your training plan. Join Fleet Feet Sports on Wednesday, Dec. 14 to learn about the official training program of the Syracuse Half Marathon.

 

Already signed up for the program? Great, bring a friend who also might be interested and come out and meet the coaches, learn about what you will need to get started and have all your questions answered.

Who: Anyone looking to learn more about the official training program of the Syracuse Half Marathon, anyone who has already signed up for the training program and wants details on the format of the program, would like to meet the coaches and have all your pre-training questions answered.

 

When and where: Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. at Fleet Feet Sports, Dewitt

The program will focus on gaining endurance and participants are given comprehensive instruction on how to properly prepare for this half marathon. We encourage all runners to join! Some of you may be looking to complete the Syracuse Half for the first time, while others are looking to finish with a PR and beat your time from last year. Whatever your goals may be, the Fleet Feet Sports Half Marathon training program can help you get there.

 

 

Program Details

 

Who: Anyone looking to run a half marathon or similar distance. All abilities are welcome!

 

When and Where: Wednesday evenings at 5:45 p.m. at Onondaga Lake Park and Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. at Fleet Feet Sports, Dewitt

 

Start Date: Wednesday, January 4th

 

Cost: $125 for the 12 week program or $115 for program alumni

 

Shirt: An optional program-specific tech shirt is available for $15.

 

Includes: Training plan and pace group runs. DOES NOT include race entry.
